Creative Design &
Animation Programs
for Kids

This program offers two learning paths:

graphic design or animation.

In the graphic design path, your child is introduced to colour, layout, typography and simple digital projects.

In the animation path, your child learns character movement, storyboarding and basic motion principles.

Both paths give young learners a strong, supportive start in digital art.

Student Portfolio & Academic Mentorship

Students receive focused support to build strong, admissions‑ready portfolios for design and animation programs.

Mentorship also covers assignments, workflow and time‑management, with strategies that support both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners.

Amjad Barbour

Your Design Mentor

I’m an accessibility-focused designer, author and mentor based in Toronto. I love helping design and animation students find their confidence, polish their portfolios and navigate creative programs with ease. Whether we’re tackling workflow coaching or creative problem-solving, my goal is to make design education more inclusive and empowering. I’m a firm believer in hard work; while I’ll give five-year-olds a pass for being "tired," I’ll always push my students to give their absolute best until the project is done!

Bashar Edris

Your Animation Mentor

I’m a 3D character artist and former peer tutor in Toronto Film School based in Toronto. I help students build confidence in modeling, refine their visual design skills, and grow as creative thinkers. Drawing on my background in game design and animation, I guide students through character creation, design fundamentals, and creative problem-solving. My work focuses on bringing characters to life through expressive design, and I support students in developing both structured workflows and more experimental approaches to their work.
